Erik graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Biology. Prior to joining
MDRCBB in his current role, he contributed to the lab on a part time basis since 2016.
Moving forward, Erik will primarily work with company related projects, however, being
trained to analyze surfaces by XPS, fluorescent microscopy, and dynamic water contact
angles he will likely contribute in a minor role to a variety of projects.

Isha obtained her BSc from Chaudhary Charan Singh University (India), her MSc in nanoscience from the Amity University (India), and her PhD in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering from University of Ulster (UK) working on ‘Controlled dissolution of CaP thin films via surface engineering.’ Prior to joining 2BI as a Postdoctoral Associate, Isha was at the University of Otago and University of Canterbury (New Zealand). Her research was focused on fabricating different nanomaterials, mainly magnesium and strontium-based nanostructures and porous titania nanotubes for bone and cartilage tissue engineering. She also worked on exploiting different strategies ranging from synthetic PVA-based hydrogels and porous titania nanostructured for delivering biofilm inhibiting molecules from biomedical implants. Currently, Isha is working on combining nanomaterials and cell-therapy based approaches for different biomedical applications. Isha enjoys cooking and travelling in her free time.
