Erik graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Biology. Prior to joining
MDRCBB in his current role, he contributed to the lab on a part time basis since 2016.
Moving forward, Erik will primarily work with company related projects, however, being
trained to analyze surfaces by XPS, fluorescent microscopy, and dynamic water contact
angles he will likely contribute in a minor role to a variety of projects.

Dhiraj earned his BSc and MSc in Chemistry from Delhi University as well as his MTEch [Nanobiotechnology] from Amity University in India. Dhiraj pursued his PhD in biomedical engineering from University of Ulster, UK on “co-functionalized gold nanoparticles for drug delivery application.” Before joining 2BI, Dhiraj worked as a research fellow at University of Otago, Christchurch School of Medicine (New Zealand) where he was involved in developing multi-functional nanoparticles for ovarian cancer targeting and spectral CT imaging. Dhiraj currently works as a Postdoctoral Associate on novel dental materials and improving material physio-chemical properties using nanomaterials. Outside of the lab, Dhiraj is interested in landscape and street photography.
